   ​​​Julie Mullenix presently works as a professional artist in Dallas, Georgia. She began her career as an artist by attending Ivy Tech State College, in South Bend, Indiana, Atlanta College of Art, and Kennesaw State University, Kennesaw, GA studying visual arts. Julie has worked as a independent professional artist for the last 10 years, designing and restoring all forms of art. Most of the mediums are self-taught and can never be limited to one area. Projects can range from canvas paintings to large church installations. 

    Born and raised in Nappanee, Indiana, Julie has always had an interest in art and design.  At the age of 17, Julie worked for Harley Davidson owned company, Holiday Rambler building and installing cabinets in RVs and restored her first church, St. Patrick's Cathedral in Kokomo, Indiana by the age of 18. From there, her interest in art merged to become a full-time artist, working in all forms of art. Her business, Pelle Design Services, has been commissioned to do projects for numerous churches, restaurants, hotels and movie sets.

   Julie has been an active member of the Paulding Fine Arts Association, Dallas, GA, since 2005. She has won numerous awards for her work, including recent “Best of Show,” 2019 and “First place” 2019 in the Paulding Fine Arts 2015 Fall Competition.
